Competition training day 2
Light sparring. Worked on some half guard techniques. My buddy Robert taught me how to maintain a solid half guard frame-with a few sweeps to go along with it. Already I’m starting to jump into this position during sparring and has made it natural for me to place my feet on my opponents hips. Will look to playing around with these techniques in sparring.
Unfortunately today was Friday and like all busy folk who have their weekends off, I go out. My diet was not very good and I ended up having a few beers with burgers and pizza. Been a long week and I needed to treat myself!
Oh well, tomorrow will be a new beginning.
